CHARACTERISTICS: Colour: garnet with ruby hues
Nose: vibrant with aromas of red and black fruit and figs
Spices like cinnamon and clove are subtly present.
Palate: red fruit, black fruit, supple finish on black pepper and spices
TASTING TIPS: Serve between 15°-17°C. Pairs well with beef fillet en croûte, oven-baked pheasant, duck breast, hare à la royale, pieds paquets (tripe and trotters), leg of lamb stuffed with garlic.
